Fostering

A home while they wait

A foster family gives an animal its first taste of home life: routines, the sofa, new noises. For the animal, it's halfway to adoption.

How it works

You provide the home, we stay by your side

  1. Apply

Fill in the form and tell us about your home and your routine.

  2. We talk

We'll call you and, if it makes sense, visit your home or have you come and meet the animals at the sanctuary.

  3. We choose together

We suggest the animal that best suits you and arrange everything before it arrives.

  4. Until adoption

We support you throughout the fostering and arrange visits from anyone who wants to adopt.

What we agree with you

  • The sanctuary provides food, veterinary care and medication, worming and the necessary equipment (bed, lead, bowls).
  • The family provides a home, routine and affection, with the team's support.
  • Fostering is for dogs only and usually lasts up to 1 year, until the dog is adopted.

Before you apply, read the care agreement.

Do you have outdoor space (a yard, garden or land)?
For example: an 8-year-old dog that gets on well with cats.
